Ematamos week in Vintage & chic in the home of an artist and
designer, the French of Lebanese origin Mitri Hourani, who already since I
admire for her personal style and because it has embraced the credo of recover
and give new life to objects from the past that have fallen into disuse. With a
fascinating theatrical aftertaste and a bit "Diogenes syndrome" more than
evident, this house/workshop is located in an old mill in Marseille do not
believe that leaves no one indifferent. I have to confess that some day, when
there is a strong animal lover, i am living in a place surrounded by clutter.
(That is, Xon accumulation and recovery under control and with her husband more
than coached, which gives me that it is not going to be very for the work).
Though who knows, as says the own Mitri, perhaps it is only a matter of stages.
I loved this artist's reasoning in which explains why the floor, walls and the
shelves are packed with objects "Save things in the cabinets do not used for
anything. It serves no good purpose to them. I prefer them. I like display,
