Today I bring you the tangible proof that "holiday home" doesn't have to be
equal to "resigned to comfort and design". This house, located in the small town
of El Pozo de los Frailes, in the heart of the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata, i
have been dazzled by its light, the color, the parts recovered by owners who are
unable to give an air mid-century so attractive.
is that as I have been told their owners - readers of this blog ; )- most of the
furniture and decorative objects have been recovered from second-hand shops,
such as the sofa and a couple of armchairs , both 60 and reupholstering in an
intense blue color. But they have also found parts in vintage clothes shops, on
Ebay, in Etsy.
The handmill, that wonderful furniture in blue and white on the left, is a
finding of the years 50 that was in a very bad state of conservation and painted
completely white. But oh, what a surprise! The decaparla discovered the original
blue and so now looks like in the kitchen, next to the banks Tolix in metal and
the collection of demijohns and old glass bottles blue.
on the wall there is a cartel of 1949 original of the feasts of Almeria and a
poster of the 60 of a exposure of Miro in the Gaspar de Barcelona room purchased
in Populart in Seville. The coffee table is one of the years 30 and above there
is a bulb Phase ahhh! And a sculpture of a bull of Jonathan Adler. The mirror is
