The Norwegian architect Tommie Wilhelmsen presents us this
fantastic project for a contemporary cabin, a refuge from the daily routine for
their owners that makes it the ideal place to escape in the summer and enjoy the
silence of the island Rennesy.
The stunning beauty of the Norwegian fjords and the relaxing
feeling of the contact with nature, create a perfect location for this housing.
A hut made of wood and glass of 120 m2, located in front of the sea and with its
main facade open to the light and views of the south.
Outside of the dark wood of fir tree gives you a great solemnity to
the composition and contrasts with the warmth of the inner lining of oak. The
huge windows make the inner and outer join permanently, even the possibility of
open completely to confuse the boundary between one and another.
The interior of the house is filled with natural light through the
large glass windows that embellish even more concrete finishes and wood that are
housing. All the roof is made of oak with lamas that grant a vivid, further
strengthened by the dynamism of the curve in the facade that opens to the
outside housing and level changes in the soil of the interior of the hut which
allows better integrate into your environment, avoiding rise above the
same.
