On this occasion, based in Bern, Switzerland German designer, Till Koenneker needed a module that will solve the storage problem.
Storage is the Achilles heel of all small houses. So the designer needed a solution that would enable it to collect and organize all your stuff. Books, records, audiovisual equipment, clothing, and shoes are neatly organized. And inside the module is sufficient space to continue storing things.
The module designed by the same Till was built by Remo Zimmerli, an artisan carpenter who belongs to a group called Schreinerei Holzlabor, also based in Bern. They have returned to the concept of woodworking craftsmanship.
The module has a metal ladder to access the top where there is provided a cushion that can be used both as a bed for guests as rest and relaxation area.
It can be accessed within the module completely hollow, through a door. The module offers a huge inside space which can be used to store large number of objects. You might also get other uses according to the needs of each user, from dressing up a hidden office or even a bathroom, the possibilities are endless adaptability.
