How to decorate a cubicle or small office

Reduced labor spaces like cubicles and small offices often be uncomfortable in itself, but if we give it a good organization and decoration we can feel it more easy, and we are incouraged to improve our productivity.

The decoration and its benefits in the workplace

The decoration  of cubicle, desktop or small office is essential to raise our level relieve stress  and as a result, increase productivity and performance. There are many decorating techniques that we can apply in tight spaces, so that your little workplace  is cozy and comfortable. Here are some thoughts  .

Organize your workspace

We begin by making the most of available space, considering the length, width, and height of your work space. If you have a cubicle or small office, you need much storage space, to maintain order and cleanliness.

Instead of a common table or computer table, select (or requested), a desk with many drawers. This way you can keep well guarded both your papers and documents, as well as your everyday objects, without losing or cluttering the place.

On your desktop table places two stackable trays to put there papers and documents, perhaps one with a label that says "done" and another with a letter that says "facts". This will allow you to organize your to-dos, and evaluate the progress of your daily tasks at a glance. Also your pencils and pens should be contained in a pen, or at least in an old cup with decorative motifs of your choice.

The coat and wallet are objects that are uncomfortable in small offices and cubicles. If possible, leave your coat on the rack in the break room, or put a hook on the wall farthest from your work area (perhaps even almost inaccessible corner), to hang there and do not disturb.

Decorating with a personal touch

Always remember to have some staff decorative object in view (one or more, always small and tasteful), to feel more comfortable in your cubicle. However, do not overdo it: Fill your computer screen with pictures and rubbings can disfigure your workspace, and can give you the feeling of being saturated with tasks and stimuli.

If possible, place a small plant on your desk to decorate with a natural touch. When you feel overwhelmed by the tasks, finish them and give yourself a reward, devoting a few minutes to irrigation and cleaning of your floor.

Regarding the overall decorative style cubicle or small office, The walls must be painted in light colors, pastel colors. White is too stressful work environments and does little creative stimulus. They will be better light and soft tones to stimulate you without stress.
