As I was looking at photos and more photos of this home swedish
almost one hundred years, i was more amazed with maximalism that queen all the
corners of the house, but always keeping that touch "Swedish" of white walls or
brick, white light that enters through the large windows, much Ikea, wood and
more wood. But it is not one of those houses scandinavian only shades of white,
gray dust and open spaces. Swedish but with a twist. Here there are persian
carpets combined with patterned textiles and wallpaper full of color, in this
house of 9 bedrooms there is little walls that are not full of shelves (in turn
filled with things), tables and photos, or lamps that do not have screens with
tassels and stamped. Here there is no fear of mixing styles and fill the rooms
of furniture and decorative objects. Until the greenhouse is full of furniture.
The end result? In the end, I am not sure if i like (removes possibly half of
things) but i'm unsure how i would call: Scandinavian, yes, ma non troppo!
