The search for forms of savings to decorate your living space
outdoors doesn't mean you have to sacrifice one of those things. Here are some
ideas to help you:
- Forget about trying to find the perfect piece for your garden in the
first garage sale you see. If a combo set is what your heart really want then
by all means search to find it. But you will have much more success if you open
your eyes to the possibility of mismatched pieces.
- The painting is also a uniter and makes amazing things for most
of the furniture. Sprayed with a storage of trash and hang up full of candles.
If you believe that the furniture and the probabilities are too extreme, as
well, try to mix and match the color of paint instead of paint all the parts in
the same way. For example, try a chair with seat of green and white legs.
Celebrating Diversity.
- Consider all sources of low-cost parts, not only the garage sales and
yard. Look for flea markets, auctions and shops of savings. Keep your eyes open
when you pass the bulletin board in the tent of his neighbor. Check the
classified. Ask your friends and family if they have spare parts stored far away.
Many articles are out because the owners may not be harassed with a minor
repair or simply do not have the space to save them.
- Accept substitutions. Instead of a large dining table takes into
account several smaller ones. Instead of a sofa, use several chairs that you
have found. Just make sure that there is at least a comfortable seat. - Imagine
other uses for common themes. For example, you can use a large toolbox of wood
as a magazine rack, a wooden door mounted in brackets as a shelf or table, or
an old mailbox as pot.
- You could also consider the possibility of using a particular theme of
your outdoor decor, such as the french or the Caribbean.
The design should draw attention away from any imbalance in your furniture. The
economy in the decoration of your outdoor space does not have to lead to the
lack of taste or convenience. You may have to work a little more, but think how
much satisfaction derived from a space that you have done with almost nothing.
