Batik is a simple and full color technique that allows us to do different jobs with beautiful results.
Steps to make batik paper
This technique can be performed on paper or fabric. If we do it on paper, we get an original material with which wrapping, lining boxes, make posters or invitations, or anything else to be suggested by our imagination. To make batik, we just need paper and aniline.
Procedure:
We take the role, preferably with a high-fiber cotton (like missionary), and crumple, we do a bun and press well with hands. We stretch and return to wrinkle.
Now, drawing, We plunged into a container in which we will have dissolved aniline color. What we turn to soak well, and when we see the cracks has taken the color we want, drain it, stretch it and let it dry, it will look like crackle . It is best to perform this step with gloves to avoid staining our hands.
We iron it when dry to give it a scroll, and if we do it in various colors, each end immersed in a different color.
The paper ornaments made with batik will be very pleasing to the eye and may even turn into a job opportunity.
