For the holiday season, we turn to any resource for our home that looks divine. One of the decorative elements that we can use is lighting candles. Creating them is simple and inexpensive, as discussed below.
Materials for electric candles
We will need a small electrical installation for each sailing, including wire, plug, switch (if wanted), the bulb carrier and small focus, low consumption, teardrop, and a metal pipe or hose to pass the rigid glass cable and keep it upright. We can acquire all these elements into an electronics store. Also, we need a cardboard tube (such as roll paper towels), eva white gum, a wooden base to keep the candle upright, and white acrylic and butter. If you want, you can use modeling putty or cold porcelain to give a more striking aspect to sail.
Steps to assemble the electric candles
We begin by assembling the wooden base, colored acrylic, painting it with butter (or oil), and drilling to spend doing the wiring. Then, cut a circle of cardboard or rubber eva diameter cardboard tube, and make a hole in the center, which will support the bulb carrier. Adhere to the universal glue. Cover the tube with rubber eva, and model drops of melted candle wax to decorate and hide binding to the circle you created. We can also make these shapes with hot glue, then covering it with putty in a very fine layer. Then, paint the entire surface with acrylic color butter, and if we want, we can give a patina of white and brown color that are very soft to give a vintage look
Then, it only remains to assemble the wiring, and pass the cable through the tube into the carton and core drilling. Adhere the electric candle to the wooden base and decorate it with Christmas wreaths, bells and ribbons and the other Christmas themes. And we list an electric and very special candle to decorate our home.
